The Technical Services team at More Vang is responsible for delivering data-driven marketing solutions for our clients. On a day-to-day basis, you will work on projects ranging from simple data processing for direct mail and email to complex automated systems.

what you’d be doing:

• Plan and implement automated data processing workflows using open-source tools and proprietary software.
• Maintain the day-to-day operation of automated data workflows in a hybrid Windows and Linux environment
• Program variable data print templates.
• Write Python scripts to cleanse, sanitize, and prepare data for marketing campaigns.
• Support the estimation process for projects that involve Technical Services.
• Support the objectives and goals of the Technology department.
• Continually improve your skills in the field of programming.

preferred skills for this role:

• Bachelor’s Degree or greater in a computer- or graphics-related field.
• Proficiency in the following programming languages: Python, JavaScript.
• Proficiency with SQL (any and all flavors).
• Experience with HTML and programming for the web, especially HTML emails.
• Comfortable in a Linux environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong understanding of digital and print media.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Excellent work habits: proactive, ability to prioritize, detail-oriented.
• Must thrive in an optimistic (ever-changing) environment.
